Part of the importance of knowing your neighbors is being able help each other when the need arises. We all like to share things we like……. restaurants we’ve tried, movies we’ve seen, great vacation spots we’ve visited, and the list goes on. Here is a rare opportunity for your review. Should it resonate with you, contact details are on the web site. www.rhthomason.com

Now moving right along…….
We have an agenda for the first meeting.
Starts: 5:35PM (promptly)

2. Vision and Purpose presentation by Bob Thomason – Bob will talk about the purpose and thinking behind this organization. He’ll layout some initial guidelines which will be voted on at a later time. (20 minutes)
3. Q&A Session – Questions will be answered plus this could be used also as a “brain storming” session……..should time permit. (20 Minutes)
Ends: 6:35PM

In order to maintain consistency in our web presence, I’ve created a new web address at GetToKnowYourNeighbor.org. We will make improvements often so I invite you to check back regularly.
My vision is to make this a community tool so we will learn who our neighbors are, conduct business with them, and build strong community relationships.
If you haven’t already, please join us on Facebook as well.

Great, I see a number of you have joined already. Here’s the plan. I’ve got a meeting at my house scheduled for next Thursday (see Events for details). Your welcome to come and see how this is being organized. My vision is to expand this to every neighborhood in Magnolia. I will need team leaders to help with that.
Many of us, including me, get so busy with being “busy” that we do not take time to visit and get to know our neighbors. I admit that I’m as guilty as anyone but that’s changing. I have a vision of building neighborhood visitation groups so that we get to know one another again.
We’re all on the internet and facebook which is great, but, it does not replace meeting people in person.
Let’s meet together, create a purpose, share stories, share interests, do business with one another, and enjoy our neighbors…..I promise you this will be good for Magnolia.
Then, when someone asks who lives in your neighborhood, you will have a story to tell.
Come join me Thursday, Mar 4th.
To help me with a head count, please RSVP in the events section of our facebook page http://companies.to/gettoknowyourneighbor/
